Episode 127: Satan’s Attack on Our Children Part 1

Summary:

Satan, his angels, the disembodied Nephilim spirits, and his human proxies, have always had children as a target. Whether for sacrifice, abuse, trafficking or to influence and claim later as an adult, the devil attacks our children for his evil purposes. What can the Scriptures tell us about this abomination? Some of satan’s devices directed at children:

Broken homes

Drugs, Alcohol

Gaming, film, books

Social media (TikTok, etc)

Internet pornography

Occult deceptions (Ouija boards, D&D, witchcraft, etc.)

Gender identity and other mental health challenges

These can drive children to rebellion, to run away and become vulnerable to child trafficking, prostitution, addiction, immersion into the occult, demonic possession, and mental disorders.

Takeaway:

When our children become adults, the concern is that satan will pull them away from a strong relationship with the Lord. They can be focused on political and material things rather than the actual war we wage. Their world view is now very much shaped by leftist/socialist ideology and controlled by the satanic media. It’s important we prepare our children for the spiritual battle. We start by cleaning our home of the things that might open a portal or place an undue influence on our kids.

John Potts

John was born in Ohio, but grew up in South Texas from the age of 7 in a small farming and ranching community in the area of Castroville, Texas. He graduated from Medina Valley High School and attended the University of Texas at San Antonio where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Marketing in 1997. John began his career in the wine and spirits industry in Austin and worked around the state for approximately 20 years in both distribution and manufacturing. He is most recently know for being part of the original founding team of Deep Eddy Vodka. John is now retired from the industry and lives with his wife, Jana, and their three children in Bee Cave, TX just outside of Austin. His life focus is now on family and helping to expose the forces that suppress the truth of our world that needs to reach all people.

Sandi Mitchell is the driving force behind the Bible Mysteries Podcast, where she serves as the producer alongside her husband, Scott Mitchell, the Bible-teaching host.
